Randolph Police Selling Patches to Raise Money for Autism Awareness

RANDOLPH — Chief William Pace is pleased to announce that the Randolph Police Department will be selling patches this month in order to raise money for autism awareness.

Throughout the month of April, people can purchase the Randolph Police autism awareness patches for $10 apiece. All of the proceeds from the patch sales will go directly to the New England chapter of Autism Speaks.

Autism Speaks was founded in 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, the grandparents of a child with autism. The organization is dedicated to promoting solutions for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support.

“This is our first time participating in National Autism Awareness Month and we are thrilled to be partnering Autism Speaks,” Chief Pace said. “Autism touches so many people in our lives in one way or another. Our officers will be wearing the patches at select events throughout the month and we encourage everyone to stop by the station and purchase a patch to help support this great cause.”

Patches are available now at the Randolph Police Department, 41 South Main St. or by mailing a check or money order to:
